This is the first thing you have to re-think. If you want to play games (even though I suggest you play it on a PC), or if you will be reading lots of e-books, then a bigger screen will be convenient. There are many things you need to know before buying a Cheap Tablets. I’ll try to sum them up in this article.

When it comes to tablets, screen is the most important thing you should consider. While typing and tapping will be more comfortable on larger screen, there are people that will prefer its portability than others. Larger screen means more weight, and it is harder to be carried wherever you go. Few screen examples for you and its brand options are a 5 inch screen Dell Streak and a 7 inches Samsung Galaxy Tab. You can buy iPad to get 9.7″ screen and if you like it big, get yourself an Archos 101 with its 10-ish inches screen. Don’t forget to put on adhesive screen protector to protect your screen from scratches.

The next main factor is wireless connections. If you will be using it mostly in free hotspot areas in cafes or other public areas then Wi-Fi featured tablets may be enough for you, but if you want to go online anywhere, get a 802.11n tablet with 3G cell connection. Just remember that 3G will usually cost you extra money. Consider Bluetooth for easy wireless data transfer and flexibility in using a Bluetooth keyboard and or headset.

Again, how you need your tablet will affect how much storage you need. If you’re gonna bring a lot of videos and photos, pick a device with more storage, or alternatively you can upgrade the storage by buying extra storage space.

Camera. If you want to have a nice video call or simply take some photos, you will need a camera. In this case, the Android Samsung Galaxy Tab is a good choice. It has two cameras, while the iOS iPad (first generation) doesn’t. iPad is not fit for content creation and fit for consumption content such as listening to music, browsing, email, etc.

Also, take a look at on what processor it is running. I’ve tried iPad and the speed amazed me. So, logically I think, you will tend to experience delays the lower price devices. If you can deal with it, then no problem.

Whatever you will need it for, just remember that it can’t replace you main computer. There are reasons why they made it in tablets form, I think most of it because its portability and semi-primary-PC-plus-smartphone features.

In my humble opinion, price will go down as the time goes. So if you want iPad really bad but don’t have much money, give it some time, be patience to save more money. Or, if you simply want to have a tablet PC, then medium quality ones will suit you. You need to decide this before purchasing one. Also check the contracts and guarantee and any other additional feature the vendor offers you. Whatever price you want, just make sure that you buy a branded one. Well, at least you’ve ever heard the brand.

I hope these tips can be useful to help you get your best purchase.
