Hot New Workouts Bringing the Fun Back to Fitness

amgeI’m always hearing people complain about going to the gym. They dread their workouts and often end up skipping them. Does this include you? Seems to me, then, there’s one major factor missing from your exercise choice: F-U-N. Here are two workouts that’ll make your fitness life fun again.

The workout: Jukari Fit to Fly
Description: Created by Reebok in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil, Jukari Fit to Fly is a full-body workout that consists of intervals of two to three minutes of cardiovascular conditioning and one to two minutes of resistance training. Where does the “flying” come into play? The workout involves using a Fly Set, which is suspended from the ceiling, which you use to assist you in completing jumps, leaps and twirls. The Fly Set is also used to perform resistance exercises where you use your body and gravity to create the resistance. (For example, in a Jukari class, you may put your feet into the bottom loops of the Fly Set as you hold plank position).
